| Sublingual Tablet | A tablet that is dissolved under the toungue instead of being swallowed whole. |
| Inhalation | The administration of a medication directly into the lungs by the mouth or nose. |
| Transdermal | Aministration of a medication through the skin |
| Vaginally | Administration of a solid or liquid medication through the vagina |
| Intradermal | The Administration of a medication by injection into the skin |
| Intramuscular | The administration of a medication within or into a muscle. |
| Intranasal | Medications administered through being inhaled through the nose and being absorbed into the bloodstream |
| Topical | A substance used externally for relief of swelling, itching, or infections. |
| Intravenous | The administration of a medication within or onto the veins. |
| Opthalmic | The administration of medication through the eye |
