How do you find density? Mass divided by volume
What is the formula for density? Mass divided by volume

What is the formula for volume? Mass divided by density
How do you find volume of a regular object? Length x width x height
How do you find the volume of an irregular object? Water displacement
What is the density of water? 1 g/cm3
What type of property is density? Physical
What is amu? Atomic Mass unit
What are the 3 main causes of density? Atoms, atomic bonds, and mixed density
How do you find the mass of an atom? By adding the protons and neutrons (Atomic Mass)
What causes a substance in water to float? If the substance has a density that is lighter than 1 g/cm3
What causes a substance in water to sink? If the substance has a density that is heavier than 1 g/cm3
How do you find the mass of a solid? Triple Beam Balance
How do you find the volume of a solid? Length x width x height or water displacement
How do you find the volume of a liquid? The amount of mililiters in a graduated cylinder
What do all pure substances have in common? They all have specific densities
What is mixed density? When the total density contains more than one substance
