Mechanical advantage a quantity that expresses how much a machine multiplies force or distance
Temperature a measure of how hot or cold something is, specifically, a measure of all the average kinetic energy of the particles in an object
Velocity the speed of an object in a particular direction
Solid a state of matter that has a definite shape and volume
Density the ratio of the mass of a substance to the volume of the substance
Acceleration the rate at which velocity changes over time, an object accelerates if its speed , direction or both change
Buoyancy the upward force that keeps an object immersed in or floating on a fluid
Work the transfer of energy to an object by the application of a force that causes the object to move in the direction of the force
Gas a state of matter that change both shape and volume
Liquid a state of matter that change shape but not volume
Plasma a state of matter that consist of free moving ions and electrons
Weight the measure of the gravitational fore exerted o anobject
Speed the distance traveled divided by the time interval during which motin occurred
momentum a quantity defined as the product of the mass and velocity of an object
Volume the measure of the size of a body or region in 3D space
Pressure the amount of force exerted per unit area of a surface
Inertia th tendency of an object to resist a change in motin unless an outside force acts on the object
Gravitation Force the force of gravity acting upon an object
Simple Machine one of the six basic types of machines, which are the basis for all other forms of machines
