Brand Name licenced name under which a drug prepared by a specific manufacturer is sold;also known as proprietary or trade name. Bufferin, Ecotrin(asprin)
Drug names and cost brand name often more expensive than generic,as the companies who invented the drug still hold the patent therefore no one else can make it.
