Vytorin Ezetimbie/Simvastatin Anithyperlipidemic Two medicines. Ezetimibe reduces cholesterol absorbed in diet. Simvastatin, HMG-COA reductase, block enzyme needed to make cholesterol.
Cymbalta Duloxetine Antidepressant Antidepressant (selective serotonin) and norepinephrine (SSNRIs). Affects chemicals in the brain. Treats major depressive disorder and anxiety. Chronic pain caused by never damage, Fibromyalgia
Accuneb, ProAir, HFA, Proventil, Proventil HFA, Ventolin HFA Albuterol Aero Bronchodilator Relaxes airway muscles and increases airflow. Treat or prevent bronchospasm in people with obstructive airway disease. Prevent excercise-inducded bronchospasm.
Valium Diazepam Benzodiazepam/ C-IV Short term relief of anxiety disorder. Used for muscle spasms and alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Used with other medications to treat certain seizure disorders.
Pravachol Pravastatin Antihyperlipidemic Lowers high cholesterol and triglycerides. Increases high density lipoprotein cholesterol levels. Reduce heart attack, stroke, and death due to coronary heart disease. Slows blood vessel blockage.
Klor-Con Potassium Chloride Mineral Prevent or treat low blood levels of potassium (hypokalemia).
Tylenol #3 Acetaminophen w/ Cod Opiod/Analgesic/ C-III Relief of mild to moderately severe pain.
Fosamax Alendronate Bisphosphonate Osteoporosis Agent Alters the cycle of bone formation/ breakdown. Slows bone loss while increasing mass. Treat/prevent postmenopausal osteoprosis and steroid-induced osteoporosis. Paget's disease.
Elavil Amitriptyline Antidepressant Tricyclic antidepressant. Increase activity of norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain which improves mood.
Anaprox and Naprosyn Naproxen NSAID Treats rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, or mild to moderate pain.
