Pollutants and what they do

Sulfur Oxides (SO2, SO3) ~ may cause lung damage.
Nitrogen Oxides (NO2, NO3) ~ may cause lung damage.
Ozone (O3) ~ harmful to lungs if breathed.
Caron Monoxide (CO) ~ reduces ability of blood to carry oxygen.
Airborne Lead (PB) ~ virtually non-existent today because of safeguards.
