Needle Position Selector indicates direction on needle
Stitch Width Knob the width of each indivisual stitch
Thread take-up lever used to guide thread when threading the machine
extension table hides the bobbin case
upper tension control dial tension to avoid looping, always have the dial on five
stitch length knob indivisual length of each stitch
reverse button used to back stitch, which secures your thread
thread cutter cuts thread
presser foot screw holds presser foot in place
presser foot holds your fabric in place while sewing
needle plate indicated 5/8 of an inch
shuttle hook holds your bobbin case

foot controller the gass!! If your foot is on the gas and the machine is moving, the needle will be moving up and down
