| belief (N) | an idea that is considered to be true |
| bravery (N) | actions, behaviour, or an attitude that shows courage and confidence |
| chance (N) | the possibility to do something; the opportunity |
| connect (V) | to join two or more things or people together |
| custom (N) | a way of acting or doing something that is common in a culture |
| generation (N) | all people of about the same age |
| identity (N) | our sense of ourselves and who we are |
| involve (V) | to have or include (someone or something) as a part of something |
| local (adj) | existing in or belonging to a certain area or neighborhood |
| raise (V) | to care for and educate one's children |
| show off (V) | to try to make people admire your abilities, achievements, or possessions |
