Managed Care An organized health care delivery system designed to improve both the quality & accessibility of health care, including pharmaceutical care, while containing cost.
Medication Reconciliation The process of preparing a complete & accurate listing of patient's medications & all related medical information such as allergies
Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) The development & management of broad & cost-effective Rx's drug benefits for a large group of patient's population
Pharmacy Informatics Practice that includes the use of information technology designed to ensure optimal medication use
Telepharmacy The provision of pharmaceutical care to patients at a distance through the use of telecommunications & information technologies
