Water Cycle

condensation the process where water vapor cools down and turns back into liquid water.
evaporation the process where liquid water heats up and turns into an invisible gas.
ocean the huge body of salt water that covers most of the earth's surface.
sun the star at the center of our solar system that provides light and heat to earth.
temperature a measurement of how hot or cold an object or environment is.
water cycle the continuous movement of water between the ground, the sky, and back again.
weather the daily conditions of the atmosphere, such as temperature, wind, and rain.
climate the general pattern of weather in a specific place over a very long period of time.
runoff water from rain or melting snow that flows over the ground into streams and rivers.
cycle a series of events that happen over and over again in the same order.
thermal energy energy that comes from heat, created by the movement of tiny particles inside an object.
energy the ability to do work, cause movement, or create change.
