Continent the earth's largest landmasses, there are seven
Ocean a body of salt water that cover a large portion of the surface of Earth, there are five
Equator an imaginary line around the middle of the earth, halfway between the north and south poles
Prime Meridian a line of longitude that is the starting point for measuring distance around the earth from east to west
Longitude the measurement east or west of the Prime Meridian
Latitude the measurement of distance north or south of the equator
Hemisphere half of the Earth. In geography, we talk about four different hemispheres
