Climate The usual weather patterns of a region over a long period of time
Weather The day-to-day conditions outside, such as temperature, rain, or wind
Landform A natural feature on Earth’s surface, such as mountains, plains, or islands
Environment The natural surroundings and conditions where living things exist
Region An area that shares common geographic characteristics
Savanna A tropical grassland with scattered trees and seasonal rainfall
Rainforest A warm, wet region with dense trees and heavy rainfall
Drought A long period of little or no rainfall
Deforestation The clearing or cutting down of forests
Habitat The natural home or environment of a plant or animal
Conservation Protecting and caring for natural resources and environments
Inference A conclusion made using observations and evidence
