Climate The usual weather patterns of a region over a long period of time
Landform A natural physical feature of the Earth's surface
Habitat The natural home or environment of an animal, plant, or other organism
Drought A long period of time with little or no rain
Deforestation The clearing or thinning of forests by humans
Conservation The protection and careful use of natural resources
Inference A conclusion reached based on evidence and reasoning
Weather The climate over a short period of time (i.e. 1 day or 1 hour)
Environment The surroundings or conditions in which an organism lives
Region An area on the planet in which we live
Savanna A grassy plain in tropical and subtropical regions with few trees
Rainforest A forest which gets a lot of rain and has lush plant life and biodiverse animals
