| Endocrine System | Regulates body processes using hormones. |
| Nervous System | The control center that sends electrical signals to coordinate actions. |
| Homeostasi | It is the process where the body works to keep everything balanced |
| Chemical digestion: | Enzymes and chemicals break down food into tiny molecules so your body can absorb them. |
| Physical digestion | The physical breaking apart of food into smaller pieces |
| Hormone: | A chemical messenger created by the body. |
| Stimulus: | A signal from the environment that triggers a reaction. |
| Reflex | An automatic response to a stimulus that happens without you even thinking about it. |
| Neuron | A nerve cell that sends and receives electrical signals throughout the body. |
| Heart: | The muscle that constantly pushes blood through your veins and arteries to deliver oxygen to your cells. |
| Alveoli: | Small air sacs in the lungs that are responsible for gas exchange. |
| Organ | A group of different tissues working together to do a specific job |
| Tissue | A group of similar cells that work together to do a specific task. |
| Adrenaline | : A hormone released when you are scared, excited, or in danger. |
| Bone | Body part responsible for protecting your organs and giving your body shape. |
