| retention | keeping people watching (clear structure, fast pacing, no waffle). |
| payoff | what the audience gets by the end (a takeaway, a new perspective, a next step). |
| value | the useful bit —teach, explain, show, or simplify something for the viewer. |
| credibility | why people should trust you (evidence, a source, lived experience—clearly labelled). |
| source | where a claim comes from (reference). |
| in-text citation | a quick credit line in your script like “According to Bleier et al. (2024)…”. |
| prompt | the instructions you give an AI tool—better prompt |
| hallucination | when AI confidently makes stuff up that looks that looks real, but it isn’t. |
| verification | checking AI output against the actual reading/source before you use it. |
