Telekinesis refers to the supposed ability to move or manipulate objects with the mind without physical interaction.
Television a system for transmitting visual images and sound over distances.
Telegraph an early system of sending messages over long distances using coded signals.
Telescope an instrument for observing distant objects.
Telepathy the ability to communicate with others over a distance using only the mind.
Teleconference a conference call where people communicate with one another over long distances.
Telecommute to work from home or another remote location, often using technology.
Teleportation being able to transport a person or object instantly over a distance (usually in science fiction). |
Telemarketing the act of selling goods or services over the phone to a distant customer.
Telecast a broadcast of a television program over a distance.
Theology the study of gods or religion, specifically the nature of God
Theist someone who believes in the existence of a god or gods.
Atheism the lack or absence of belief in gods.
Monotheism the belief in only one god.
Polytheism the belief in multiple gods.
Theocracy a system of government in which priests or religious leaders rule in the name of a god.
Theocentric centered on or focused on God or the divine.
Theological relating to theology or the study of God.
Pantheism the belief that God and the universe are identical, or that God is present in everything.
