KAP Vocabulary

QuestionAnswer
third person limited a pov where an outside narrator uses "he", "she", or "they". limited to a single character.
third person omniscient same as limited but narrator is all-knowing. knows all character's thoughts, feelings, etc.
phrase a small group of words that act as a single unit within a sentence.
central theme main idea, underlying message, lesson of a story.
central idea the primary message or big picture of a story or text.
revision/revised amending, altering, or updating something written. to correct it.
formal vs informal tone formal is precise, standar grammar for more academic texts. informal is casual, conversational, and oftentimes uses slang and contractions.
objective summary a concise and NEUTRAL overview of a text.
conclusion the end or finish of a text; ties it all up.
claim or counterclaim claim is an arguable statement
