mass A measurement of the amount of matter in an object.
volume A measure of the amount of space something takes up.
weight A measure of the force of gravity on the mass of an object.
meter The metric unit for length.
liter The metric unit for volume.
gram The metric unit for mass.
scale An instrument used to measure mass.
graduated cylinder An instrument used to measure volume.
water displacement A method of measuring the volume of an irregularly shaped solid object.
