QuestionAnswer
Testable Question The problem of the investigation is stated as a question.
Research Background information on the testable question.
Bibliography All reference used in your research are sited.
Hypothesis An educated guess using an "If/Then" statement.
Independent Variable A variable that changes or is manipulated in an investigation.
Dependent Variable A variable that changes in an investigation in response to changes in the independent variable.
Constant Variable The variables that are kept unchanged in an investigation.
Experiment A list of all materials needed to complete the investigation will be listed as well as a step by step procedure of how to perform the experiment.
Data Information collected when doing an investigation. This information has to be presented in a table, chart, or graph form.
Conclusion An answer to the original testable question in an investigation.
Scientific Worth What a student has learned by doing an investigation. How does this information relate to their life?
