Representation Ensuring diverse groups are visibly present and involved in decision-making and leadership roles.
Inclusion Creating an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to contribute fully.
Equality Ensuring individuals have equal access to opportunities and resources without discrimination.
Equity Providing tailored support to ensure fair outcomes, recognising that different people have different needs.
Unconscious Bias Automatic, unintentional attitudes or stereotypes that affect decisions and behaviour.
Cultural Competence The ability to understand, communicate, and work effectively across diverse cultures.
Accessibility Designing processes, environments, and tools so they are usable by everyone, including those with disabilities.
Psychological Safety A team climate where individuals feel safe to speak up, share ideas, and take risks without fear of negative consequences.
Inclusive Leadership Leadership that actively seeks and values diverse perspectives and fosters an inclusive culture.
