| flammable | Able to catch fire easily. |
| hover | To remain in place over an object or location. |
| inflate | To fill with air or gas. |
| jeopardy | 1. danger 2. To put in danger of loss or injury. |
| moor | 1. To hold in place with ropes or anchors. 2. A place to which a boat or aircraft can be moored. |
| plummet | To fall suddenly toward the earth or to a lower level; to plunge. |
| pollute | 1. To make impure or dirty. 2. The action of polluting; the state of being polluted. |
