Learning & Motivation Psychologist studies how behavior is shaped by rewards, punishments, and goals
Cognitive Psychologist studies thinking, memory, and problem solving
Biopsychologist/ Behavioral Neuroscientist studies how the brain and body affect behavior
Evolutionary Psychologist looks at how behavior has developed through evolution
Social Psychologist studies how people influence and interact with each other
Cross-Cultural Psychologist compares behaviors across different cultures
Introspection looking inside yourself to understand your thoughts and feelings
Structuralism tried to describe what the mind is made of
Functionalism studied how the mind helps people adapt and function in their environment
Psychophysical Function measures how physical things (like sound or light) relate to how we sense or notice them
Comparative Psychologist studies animals to learn about humans
Positive Psychology focuses on what makes like good (like happiness, success, etc.)
