Make the kidneys pass more fluid by interfering with the transport of salt and water across certain cells in the kidneys. Loop Diuretics
Block the kidneys from reabsorbing sodium and chloride, which forces the body to get rid of more sodium and water through urination. Thiazide/Thiazide-like Diuretic
