| Ampule | Small, hermetically sealed container with a distant, elongated neck. (usually made of glass) 1mL-20mL |
| Ampule Drug PH | Acidic PH value, high osmotic pressure, or a high tonicity (hypertonic) |
| Ampule Risks | Potential for patient to be exposed of glass shards. |
| Ampule Body | Largest component of the ampule and portion that contains the medication |
