PTSD critera A Exposure to actual or threatened death, serious injury, sexual violence in one or more ways following
PTSD Criteria A 1 Directly experiencing traumatic event
PTSD Criteria A 2 Witnessing in person the events happing to someone else
PTSD Criteria A 3 learning that a traumatic event happened to a close friend or family
PTSD Criteria A 4 experiencing repeated or extreme exposure to aversive details of the traumatic event (first responders collecting human remains, police officers repeatedly exposed details of child abuse.)
PTSD Criteria B one or more of the following intrusion symptoms associated with the event beginning after the traumatic event occurred
PTSD Criteria B 1 Recurrent, involuntary, distressing memories of the traumatic event.
PTSD Criteria B 2 recurrent distressing dreams/nightmares related to the traumatic event
PTSD Criteria B 3 dissociative reactions (flashback) in which some feels or act as if the traumatic event
PTSD Criteria B 4 intense or prolonged psychological distress at exposure to internal or external cues (that triggers them and remind them of the event) Internal: thoughts you have) external: (place ppl)
PTSD Criteria B 5 Marked physiological reaction to internal and external cues
PTSD Criteria C avoidance of stimuli associated with the traumatic events beginning after the traumatic event have to have one or both of the following
PTSD Criteria C 1 avoidance of or efforts to avoid distressing memories thoughts feelings about closely associated with the traumatic event.
PTSD Criteria C 2 avoidance of or efforts to avoid external reminders (ppl,place and conversations activates object and situations)
PTSD Criteria D Negative alterations in cognitions and mood associated with the traumatic event beginning or worsening after the traumatic event
PTSD Criteria D 1 inability to remembered important expects of the traumatic event.
PTSD Criteria D 2 Persistent and exaggerated negative belief or expectation of oneself others or the world (i am bad, i don't trust others and the world is dangers)
PTSD Criteria D 3 persistent distorted cognitions about the cause of consequence of the traumatic events that leads to them blame themselves or others.
PTSD Criteria D 4 persistent negative emotions (fear,gult,shame,horror)
PTSD Criteria D 5 markedly diminished interest or participation in significant activities
PTSD Criteria D 6 feelings of detachment or estrangement from others
PTSD Criteria D 7 persistent inability to experiences positive emotions (inability to experience happiness or loving feelings)
PTSD Criteria E marked alterations in arousal and reactivity associated with the traumatic event beginning or worsening after the traumatic
PTSD Criteria E 1 angry outburst irritable behavior typically express as verbal or physical aggression toward ppl or objects
PTSD Criteria E 2 reckless or self-destructive behavior
PTSD Criteria E3 Hypervigilance
PTSD Criteria E 4 Startle response
PTSD criteria E 5 problems with constriction
