ANTIBIOTIC only treats bacterial infections, Side effects: Diarrhea, Upset Stomach, Nausea, people are sometimes allergic to penicillin and/or cephalosporins, Always Complete unless eye/ear drops, empty stomach= better absorption
Aminoglycosides can affect hearing/balance, can affect kidney function
urinary nitrofurantoin containing, possible urinary discoloration (normal/not harmful)
tetracycline toxic after expiration
sulfa possible Stevens-Johnsons Syndrome (fatal reaction with red skin blotches), possible jaundice (yellowing of ski/eyes)
Flagyl combination with alcohol causes violent nausea and vomiting
linezolid possible severe high blood pressure
