| Mechanical Energy | The eergy due to the motion and position of an object. |
| Chemical Energy | The energy that is stored within the chemical bonds of matter. |
| Radient Energy | Energy which is transferred throughh waves such as visible light. X-Rays, and Uv light. |
| electrical energy | the energy that flows within an electric circuit. |
| thermal energy | the energy of moving molecules in an object. |
| Radiation | the transfer of heat through waves, nothing touches. |
| insulator | a material that does not allow heat to transfer through it. |
| conduction | the transfer of heat through direct contact. |
| convection | the transfer of heat the warm air rising in cold air falling. |
| conductor | A material that allows you to travel through it easily. |
| law of conservation of energy | states that energy cannot be created of destroyed but it can change forms. |
| renewable energy | an energy source that is replenished continuously. |
| non-renewable energy | an energy source that cannot be replenished easily. |
| elastic potential energy | energy being stored in something that is being stretched or compressed. |
| gravitational potential energy | affected by the height and mass of an object. |
| energy transformation | when a form of energy changes to another form. |
| circuit | must contain a power source Transformer and a conductor. |
| Force | a pusher pull exerted on an object. |
| work | when an object moves because of a push or pull. |
| energy | the ability to do work. |
