dependent variable something in an investigation that is being tested and depends on the independent variable
fair test an investigation where all things are kept the same apart from one thing

independent variable something that is changed in an investigation
inertia a scientific idea that states that an object stays at rest or in motion in a straight line
mass the amount of matter in an object, measured in kilogram
motion the act or process of changing position or location
turbine a wheel or rotor that is made to rotate by moving water or air
unbalanced forces forces (pushes and pulls) that are not equal to one another
