Emergency Hydration

Bacteria / Bacterium A microscopic, single-celled, living organism that can be beneficial, such as those that aid digestion, or harmful and cause diseases
Chemical A substance with a certain chemical makeup or composition
Conductivity A measure of how a specified material conducts/carries electricity
Constraint A restriction or limitation on a design
Contaminant A pollutant that makes a substance, such as water or food, dirty and unsafe for use
Criteria The requirements a design has to meet to be successful.
Debris The smaller pieces that remains of something larger that has been broken down
Filtration The process of using a filter to separate solids from a liquid or gas
Hydration The process of making something, such as the human body, absorb water
Iteration The process of repeating something, such as a set of steps or a procedure, usually in order, to get closer to a desired result
Phosphate A substance that contains phosphorus
Pollution The introduction of harmful substances or products to a natural environment
Porous Having many holes that water or other substances can pass through
Prototype An early model or design that is created for testing or evaluation
turbidity A measure of the cloudiness or haziness of a fluid caused by individual particles.
