Action Classification
Inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, preventing receptors from becoming even more sensitive to other elements of inflammation. NSAID
Inhibit the production of prostaglandins and produces unique irriversible cyclooxygenase-1 inhibition. Salicylate
A type of NSAID that selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 with less side effects. Cox-2 Inhibitor
Elevates the pain threshold and may decrease the production of prostaglandins. Analgesic
