| prediction | A statement about what will happen based on evidence or knowledge. |
| analysis | The process of breaking down something into its parts to understand it better. |
| evaluation | The process of assessing something to determine its value or significance. |
| design | A plan or drawing produced to show the look and function or workings of an object before it is made. |
| simulation | An imitation of a situation or process. |
| evidence | Information that supports a conclusion or theory. |
| mechanism | A system of parts working together in a machine or process. |
| solution | A means of solving a problem or dealing with a difficult situation. |
| system | A set of connected things or parts forming a complex whole. |
| interaction | The direct effect that one thing has on another. |
| constraint | A limitation or restriction. |
| data | Facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis. |
| variable | An element, feature, or factor that is liable to change. |
| process | A series of actions taken to achieve a particular end. |
| representation | The action of speaking or acting on behalf of someone or the state of being so represented. |
| method | A particular procedure for accomplishing or approaching something. |
| interpretation | The action of explaining the meaning of something. |
| function | An activity or purpose natural to or intended for a person or thing. |
| assessment | The evaluation or estimation of the nature, quality, or ability of someone or something. |
| feedback | Information about reactions to a product or a person's performance of a task, used as a basis for improvement. |
| constraint | A limitation or restriction. |
| structure | The arrangement of and relations between the parts or elements of something complex. |
| context | The circumstances that form the setting for an event, statement, or idea. |
| criteria | Principles or standards by which something may be judged or decided. |
| approach | A way of dealing with a situation or problem. |
| hypothesis | A supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation. |
