Cool colors Suggest coolness & are dominated by blues,greens,violets & blue reds.Purple rather than peach or orange.Blue undertone ( water)
Warm colors Have a yellow undertone & range from yellow & gold through the oranges,red-oranges,most reds & even yellow-greens.Yellow undertone (sunshine)
Greasepaint A heavy cream makeup used in theatre
Cake (Pancake) Makeup A heavy cream foundation,It's a pplied with a moistened sponge.Gives good coverage & is generally used to camoflage scars & pigmentation defects ( used in medi-spas, or at a dermatologist's office).It's also used for film & video applications
band lashes eyelash hairs on a strip that are applied with adhesive to the natural lash line
eye tabbing procedure in which individual synthetic eyelashes are attached directly to a clients own lashes at their base
individual lashes seperate artificial lashes that are applied on top of the lashes at one time
matte dull; not shiny
primary colors yellow,red & blue; fundamental colors that cannot be obtained from a mixture
tertiary colors colors formed by mixed equal amounts of secondary color & it's neighboring primary color
concealers cosmetics used to cover blemishes & discolorations;may be applied before or after foundation
