Acupuncture a method of inserting needles into the skin to stop pain and cure disease
Chang Jiang River Also known as the Yangtze River, it is the longest river located in central China.
Confucianism the ideas and teachings of Confucius. This philosophy taught a set of beliefs focused on decency and respect.

Huang He River Chinese river that often floods; also known as the Yellow River
Jade a gemstone often used to make jewelry and art
Laozi founder of Daoism
Legalism belief that people must be controlled with a strong leader and legal system
Loess a dusty material that forms soil and makes the Huang He River yellow
Mandate of Heaven the right to rule
Oracle Bones China’s earliest written records that often told predictions for the future
Philosophy a set of beliefs about how to live
Seismograph a tool that measures and detects earthquakes
