Full Rationality Decision Making Attributes individuals are goal oriented:any decision make is to advance a goal All choices maximize the chances of achieving your goal Assumes Full information (knowing how to use the resources best for your goal, do research if dont know info)
Full Rationality Decision Making Effect Rational approach works --> makes human behavior very easy to predict
Full Rationality Decision Making Drawbacks sometimes you do things w/out any goal in mind or explanation first rarely have full information (depends on information sources) Doesnt really explain human behavior (b/c doesnt account for those who act irrationally)
Bounded Rationality Attributes we are rational, but its limited never full (don't always have full info or no what we want to do) There are reasonable way to behave that aren't rational
Down's bounded rational choice model with choosing canidates you vote for who is closer to you on the political ideology spectrum, absolute distance makes the choice, but need to have full info with an honest candidate there is also irrational reason that play a part like dont believe a women could be a good prez
