| What do you do if athlete is conscious? | Secondary survey |
| What do you do during secondary survey | History, vitals, inspection/observation, palpitation |
| Vitals to know | Pulse, breathing, blood pressure, temperature, skin, pupils, sensory, motor control |
| Pulse | 60-80 bpm |
| Breathing | 12 per minute |
| Blood pressure | 120/80 |
| Skin | normal; not red, flushed, pale, ashen, blue |
| Pupils | equal in size and responsive to light |
| Sensory | Denies numbness andtingling |
| Motor control | Denies weakness and ability to perform |
