QuestionAnswer
What is the scientific method? A series of steps that scientists use to answer questions and solvfe problems.
What is the definition of technology? The application of knowledge,tools,and materials to solve problems and accomplish tasks;technology can also refer to the objects used to accomplish tasks.
What is a hypothesis? A possible explanation or answer to a question.
What is an observation? Any use of the senses to gather info.
What is the definition of data? Any piece of info aquired through experimentation.
What is a thoery? A unifying explanationfor a broad range of hypothesis and observations that have been supported by testing.
What is a law? A summary of emperimental results and observations;a law tells how things work.
What is the definition of volume? The amount of space that something occupies or the amount of space that something contains.
What is the definition of mass? The amount of matter that something is made of.
What is temperature? A measure of how hot something or cold something is; specifically a measure of the average kinetic energy particles.
What is area? The measure of how much surface something has.
What is the density? The amount of matter in a given space.
