| tramadol | -respiratory depression (rare) -seizures, urinary retention -sedation, dizziness, headache, nausea, constipation |
| morphine | -respiratory depression, cough suppression, orthostatic hypotension, urinary retention -sedation, constipation (chronic use), nausea and vomiting (acute use) |
