| Refute | To provide evidence that goes against a claim. |
| Electromagnet | A type of magnet where the magnetic field is produced by an electric current. |
| Force | A push or pull that can change the motion of an object. |
| Potential Energy | The energy that is stored in an object or system. |
| System | A set of interacting parts forming a complex whole. |
| Convern | To change from one TYPE to another. |
| Repel | To push objects away from each other. |
| Kinetic Energy | The energy that has an object has because it is moving. |
| Magnetic Field | The space around a magnet where the magnetic force can act on objects. |
| Isolate | To separate or set apart. |
| Variable | Something that can be changed and may be measured. |
