Metamorphic rocks (formed when existing rocks are changed by intense heat and pressure)
Erosion the process of wearing or grinding something down
Physical weathering breaks rocks into smaller pieces
Chemical weathering alters the rock's minerals by creating new substances through chemical reactions.
Plateau is a flat, elevated landform that rises sharply above the surrounding area on at least one side.
Plains is a large, flat area of land
fault-block large chunks of Earth's crust break and shift along fault lines
