Paraphilias Sexual urges connected to people and objects that aren’t normal and can cause distress or trauma to others
erectile dysfunction (ED) men who can’t have an erection #tough , usually in older men
female sexual desire disorder (FSAD) Women unable to maintain sexual excitement due to subjective or physical factors/responses (she can’t get wet)
hypersexuality sex addicts, can’t control sexual urges, “quickie” (Mariam & Riley lol)
compulsive behaviors behaviors people can’t control even when they have tried to, it never works
exhibitionism exposing genitals for the purpose of arousal, (this is disgusting, the people are caught off guard too)
voyeurism secretly watching someone undress/engage in sexual behaviors
frotteurism When a person rubs their genitals on someone else, (usually in crowded places like the trains in Asia)
pedophilia sexual urges towards minors (before puberty)
transvestic fetishism A man who gets turned on by wearing women’s clothes
sadism inflicting pain on partner for sexual pleasure
masochism inflicting pain on oneself for sexual pleasure
autoerotic asphyxiophilia arousal from near suffocation
psychoanalytic theory Unresolved inner conflict and incestuous fantasies that may lead to paraphilias
cognitive behavioral therapy Helps people change negative thoughts and behaviors. Thoughts affect how we feel/what we do.
Extreme sexual behaviors Risky unforced behaviors that test the limits of what a culture tolerates within its spectrum of sexual behaviors
kink/kinky sex roles playing, doms & subs, BDSM,
fetishism Attraction to physical objects (boots, human appendages)
furries people who dress up to look like animals and sometimes engage in sexual relationships while in costume
