| Availability Heuristic | The use of recent or striking memory to influence decision making |
| Elimination by Aspects Model | If an option does not have a certain factor you eliminate it |
| Language | "Inner Speech" / internal monologue |
| Phonemes | Individual sounds spoken language |
| Morphemes | Smallest meaningful units of a word |
| Semantics | The meanings that words refer to, or a concept of a given word |
| Syntax | rules we use to combine sentences together legally (using grammar) |
| Generativity | If you follow the rules of syntax you can form new sentences that no one has ever heard before |
