digoxin -increase cardiac output through positive inotropic activity -slow conduction velocity through the AV node in the heart
dobutamine activated beta adrenergic receptors which increases cardiac contractility providing a positive inotropic effect
epinephrine stimulates arterial vasoconstriction
vasopressin stimulates v1 and v2 receptors
lisinopril/captopril blocks production of angiotensin II causing arteriolar vasodilation
losartan blocks angiotensin II receptors
amlodipine/nifedipine block calcium channels in smooth muscle cells resulting in vasodilation
metoprolol/anteolol block beta1 receptors causing decrease in heart rate and contractility and blocking release of renin in kidneys
hydralazine dilates the arterioles
