Denotation Dictionary definition of a word
Diction Related to style, diction refers to the writers word choice.
Ethos appealing to credibility
Euphemism use of a word or phrase that is less direct, less offensive than another.
Hyperbole figure of speech using exaggeration or overstatement.
Hypophora figure of reasoning in which one or more questions is/ are asked and then answered, often at length, by one and the speaker.
Imagery descriptions which impress the images of images of images of things upon the mind using one or more of the five senses.
