| Hypersensitivity: | Occurs when the immune system of an individual responds to the drug administered or applied. This reaction is neither dose dependent nor predictable. |
| Drug interactions: | Can occur when the effect of one drug is altered by another drug. This can be a negative or beneficial effect. |
