Learning The process by which experience leads to changes in behavior
Memory The ability to store and retrieve information over time.
Learning and Memory are essential for adaptation to the environment and survival
Episodic Memory Memory of personal experiences or specific events (e.g., your last birthday).
Semantic Memory General knowledge and facts (e.g., capital cities, definitions).
Procedural Memory Skills and habits (e.g., riding a bike, typing)
Behaviorism Focuses on observable behaviors and the role of reinforcement and punishment in learning (e.g., Pavlov, Skinner)
Cognitive Psychology focuses on internal processes such as perception, thinking, memory, and problem-solving
Classical Conditioning Learning through association between stimuli
Operant Conditioning Learning through reinforcement and punishment
Observational Learning Learning by observing the behavior of others (Bandura’s social learning theory)
