TermDefinition
Geography The study of the Earth's features and shapes.
Political Map A map that shows boundaries such as cities and states.
City A large town.
Capital City A city where government leaders meet and work.
Map A flat image of the Earth's surface or a small area of the earth.
Cardinal directions North, South, East and West
Intermediate Directions Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Northwest
Climate The weather pattern of an area over time.
Weather The outdoor conditions that are currently happening.
