Physical Geography

TermDefinition
Mountains Piece of land which is usually tall that has a peak at the top
Hills Usually is a naturally raised area unlike a mountain which isn't naturally raised
River A large stream of water that is flowing
Desert A dry area of land that has barely any water or trees
Cataract Is a large waterfall that usually leads down to a river
Sea Large body of water partially surrounded by land
Gulf A deep inlet of a sea/ocean that has a narrow mouth
Oasis A place in a desert where you get water at
Delta Water streams in a form of a triangle that leads sediments to the sea
Valley A low area of land between a hill or mountain with water flowing in it
