| Mountains | A mountain is a large hunk of rock that has steep sides and usually has snow on top. |
| Hills | A hill has a rounded top instead of a pointed top and it is smaller than a mountain. |
| river | A river is a natural stream of water that flows on land, or through caves. |
| desert | Deserts are ecosystems that can get very hot or very cold at times. They usually have little to no vegetation and food, and it is really hard to survive in a desert. |
| cataract | A cataract is a large waterfall. |
| sea | A sea is a body of saltwater similar to a ocean. |
| gulf | An area of the sea almost completely surrounded by land with a narrow opening. |
| oasis | An oasis is a spot and/or area of freshwater in a dessert or dry and barren land. |
| delta | A delta is a triangular area where a major river divides into several smaller parts that usually flow into a larger body of water. |
| Valley | A valley is a low area of land between hills or mountains.Typically formed from erosion by glaciers, rivers, or tectonic activity. |
