Schizoid Personality Disorder Cluster A: a pattern of detachment from social relationships and a restricted range of emotional expression
Paranoid Personality Disorder Cluster A: a pattern of distrust and suspiciousness such that others' motives are interpreted as malevolent
Schizotypal Personality Disorder Cluster A: a pattern of acute discomfort in close relationships, cognitive or perceptual distortions, and eccentricities of behavior
Antisocial Personality Disorder Cluster B: repeated illegal acts, lying for profit or pleasure, impulsive and fails to plan for future, lack of remorse
Borderline Personality Disorder Cluster B: frantic efforts to avoid abandonment, pattern of unstable & intense relationships, impulsivity often with self-damaging behavior, chronic feelings of emptiness
Histrionic Personality Disorder Cluster B: uncomfortable in situations where they are not the center of attention , inappropriate seductive, sexualized or provocative interactions, easily influenced
Narcissistic Personality Disorder Cluster B: grandiose sense of importance, fantasies of power, success, brilliance, lacks empathy, envious of others and belief that others envy them
Avoidant Personality Disorder Cluster C: fear of criticism or rejection, preoccupation with being rejected in social settings, views self as inept or unappealing, reluctant to take risks
Dependent Personality Disorder Cluster C: difficulty expressing disagreement, difficulty making decisions without advice, difficulty beginning projects alone
Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder Cluster C: preoccupation with rules and order, perfectionism, excessive demotion to work and productivity, difficulty discarding objects
Cluster A Personality Disorders Patients in this cluster present as odd or eccentric
Cluster B Personality Disorders This cluster is characterized by affect instability
Cluster C Personality Disorders This cluster is associated with anxiety or fear
