force a push or pull
friction a force acting in the opposite direction of another force, causing an object to slow down or stop

inertia the tendency of an object to resist change in motion
momentum a measurement of mass in motion
Newton's Laws a scientist named Isaac Newton developed 3 laws to scientifically explain why objects move or stop. Law 1: Objects in motion stay in motion, while objects at rest stay at rest. Law 2: The movement of an object is dependent on the strength of the force AND the mass of the object. Law 3: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
